My story began in Zambia, where I grew up surrounded by pets, immersed in the rhythm of wildlife, and the joy of playing “teacher” with the children in my neighbourhood. While my heart is in Africa, my soul has always been deeply connected to my South Asian heritage.  I am an international development professional with extensive experience spanning nearly 18 countries.

I founded Meaningful Miles to bridge these two worlds. After seeing the profound impact of animal welfare and education initiatives in India, I knew I had to share them with you. India isn’t just a destination; it’s a vibrant teacher. I invite you to travel, give, and grow with us—not just to see a new place, but to return with a completely new perspective on life.
